Trunk Club #2

Even though Tyler's experience with Trunk Club hadn't been a success, I was excited when the company started composing trunks for women. I love the idea of having a personal stylist, and Trunk Club seemed to address all the issues I had with Stitch Fix - they offer free shipping to and fro, no non-refundable deposit, you keep the same stylist the whole time, you can see what you're getting in advance (and nix items you're not interested in), and the quality of the clothing seems to be higher generally.

Even though I wasn't excited by many of the items my stylist, Hallie, included in my first box preview, I okay'd them because Trunk Club suggested that I try everything - that they would improve every time with my feedback.

Here's what it looked like:

Comes in a trunk-like shipping box. Nicely presented.

Please excuse how very tired I look.
The one on the left looked like a pajama top. The one on the right was a pretty color, but much too big.

Almost everything in this box was HUGE.

Except this blazer. Tiny and tight (but with long sleeves). And I have to accept that the color of that sweater dress just does not work for my skin tone.

Would've loved that t-shirt in the right size. The tank was an interesting, trapeze-y shape..but no good for me.

The blouse was cute, but not "me." Unlike the other pants in this box, these pants were two sizes too small!

In the end, I sent everything back, but I didn't feel too bad about that because I hadn't invested anything. I intend to try Trunk Club again when I have some extra cash!
