This is why we can't have nice things, like adorable 3D gingerbread Christmas trees.
Maybe next year.

It's the day after Christmas, and not only do I stubbornly continue to listen to Christmas music, I haven't had nearly enough of the sparkles that come with the season. Luckily, New Year's Eve is in a little less than a week, and all sequin-bedecked clothing seems to be on sale. Unluckily, I can't decide what to wear!
I'm a little obsessed with ASOS right now, so bear with me.

|Rare Mixed Sequin Tulip Midi Skirt, $64.54 at ASOS|
|TFNC Sequin Pencil Skirt in navy, $47.27 at ASOS|
I love this skirt in both navy and black, but I already have a black sequin pencil skirt from Express, so I figure some wardrobe diversity couldn't hurt. And yes, I do consider several sequin pencil skirts in different colors to constitute "wardrobe diversity."
Case in point:
This one comes both in gold and in plum. I'm leaning toward gold, but plum is so unexpected and a bit more understated...not that "understated" means much to me, as I am happy to wear dressed down sequins all year round, no matter the color.
Probably I will have to buy both of them. Oh no.
Diverging from the ASOS theme, this dress is also an option--it looks a lot like a silver sequin dress I already own, but the sequins are actually more rose gold in color and I like the three quarter sleeve. Plus I found an even more discounted option on eBay.
These two examples aren't serious contenders for New Year's Eve, but I've been looking for hot pants or similar to wear at Divine Movement classes. These are cute, though they might scuff the poles.

Perhaps I ought to focus on where I'll be for New Year's Eve, rather than what I'll wear. I still haven't figured that out.
